Yellow fever is acute viral disease transmitted by infected mosquitoes. The virus is transmitted to people by the bite of an infected mosquito. It’s mostly characterized by a high fever and Jaundice.
This virus is easily transmitted from person to person and it’s still considered a potentially life threatening disease in many countries. The reason why it’s one of the deadliest diseases is that the virus affects the whole body rapidly.
Once infected with this virus, your eyes first and then your skin starts yellowing. This is the reason why it’s called Yellow fever.
